Decay by dino-wolf
I actually finished this marker drawing in March, but was too busy studying and forgot to post it up..........

I don't think I need to explain anything here since the meaning behind is kinda obvious....... OUR EARTH IS DYING!

So hope you guys love this decaying fox!

The Hunt by dino-wolf
The Hunt

I did this painting after I finished all my mock exams! This watercolour painting is quite different from all other animal paintings I did before, especially the fur. I used to draw animal fur strand by strand.... which I realised recently they looked like toothpicks shooting out of everywhere......

Hope you guys love this! I will pick up my paintbrush again right after GCE!!! Just wanna ask... what do you want me to draw next?

I am Clarice and I am 16. I draw dragons and monsters mainly, and sometimes I draw mammals as well! I am interested in anything cool (or you may say ugly), horrible and bloody.

However, as I am still a student, I can't post up my artworks frequently. So don't expect me to have a lot of works in my account!

(ps: that's how my teeth really look like..... sharp, and those at the back are mainly v-shaped....)

Finally... finished the mock thingy......

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 7, 2014, 4:57 AM

Finally, I finished my mock exam for the GCE AS examinations, which are going to be held after a month... (Never realize it being so close...)

Anyway, I am planning to spend more time on drawing in this week, for the last week. I am going to try more animal sketches, and may probably be posting up some of my designs up later. And I am deciding to open commissions after the GCE AS exams, maybe in Mid-June, cuz I am starting to run out of ideas. So... yah... COMMISSION IS GOING TO BE OPENED FOR THE SUMMER ONLY!!!!!!

I don't know why, but I have already planned out the things to be done in my precious Summer holidays (a month and 2 weeks holidays --> quite short). I am going to try doing some landscape paintings and doing more animal studies (reptiles, birds maybe), and probably designing more characters of my own!!!

Yah... That's it. Wish me good luck.

ps: using journal skin is so much fun~~~~~

No problem~~~

Keep it up~~~~

Actually, if I use the clay you used, what's the temperature for baking and how long should I bake the sculpture?
Is there any difference between air-dried clay and oven-dried clay?

Cuz... um... I think I am going to try making some sculptures after the exams~~~

Hi Clarice, the baking temperature is around 110C or 240F in 15 minus each time. I usually set it less then the clay box shown. The clay can go in and out of the oven more then ten times. But for thin or small parts be supervisal. Some pointed or thin area after bake, if you need to fix and put in the oven again, you may cover those areas with aluminium foil (baked clay, not the soft clay). Otherwise it may burn or turn dark easily. Each oven may vary, so you'd better test a small piece of clay first. Hope this will help! Let me know if you have any question.
